The 12 days of Christmas

We are having fun getting ready for Christmas around here. Even with no snow and warm temperatures we are getting ready for a white Christmas in Minnesota! It has been a very fun season because of the girls. They love learning about why we celebrate Christmas, baby Jesus birth, Santa Claus coming and Emily our elf on the shelf! We have things we do everyday to countdown the days - our advent calendar - we get to open a door a day, their chocolate advent calendars, and adding cotton balls to our snowmen. Kyndle has fun pointing out Santas everywhere and finding Emily our Elf every morning. Mckinley loves all the Christmas carols and always wants to know who sings the songs on the radio!
